FACEBOOK’s New “Fake News” Monitoring Will Lead To Further Delusion
FB’s Comment On “Fake News”
"Additionally, Facebook says that people are less likely to share fake stories after reading them and feeling misled, and will tweak its algorithm to reflect that in hopes of burying fake news deeper in the News Feed. While that premise initially seems sound, a recent BuzzFeed investigation found that top-performing fake election news stories on Facebook actually generated more engagement than the top stories from news outlets such as The New York Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post, and NBC News. It will be up to Facebook to prove, in time, that this signal does improve its algorithm, rather than work against it."
So FB is attempting to have its users decide what is “Fake News”, but the problem is that FB believes, as listed above, that the following media outlets are RELIABLE, which includes The: NY Times, WA Post, Huffington Post & NBC.
The issue here is obvious; none of the aforementioned news outlets are reliable, but instead they’ve been proven to be Liberal Biased. The Liberal bias has been admitted by these very same news outlets as proven at the links below:
Election 2016 To Our Readers, From the Publisher and Executive Editor NOV. 13, 2016 When the biggest political story of the year reached a dramatic and unexpected climax late Tuesday night, our newsroom turned on a dime and did what it has done for nearly two years — cover the 2016 election with agility and creativity. After such an erratic and unpredictable election there are inevitable questions: Did Donald Trump’s sheer unconventionality lead us and other news outlets to underestimate his support among American voters? What forces and strains in America drove this divisive election and outcome? Most important, how will a president who remains a largely enigmatic figure actually govern when he takes office? As we reflect on the momentous result, and the months of reporting and polling that preceded it, we aim to rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism. That is to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor, striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences in the stories that we bring to you. It is also to hold power to account, impartially and unflinchingly. You can rely on The New York Times to bring the same fairness, the same level of scrutiny, the same independence to our coverage of the new president and his team. We cannot deliver the independent, original journalism for which we are known without the loyalty of our readers. We want to take this opportunity, on behalf of all Times journalists, to thank you for that loyalty. Sincerely, Arthur Sulzberger Jr., publisher Dean Baquet, executive editor

LIBERAL BIAS ADMITTED BY ALL OF THE AFOREMENTIONED SOURCES AND MORE http://www.wnd.com/2016/11/trump-fallout-major-media-admit-liberal-bias/
After reading the above links it is clear that not even mainstream media is reliable where facts are concerned.
Media Bias is so pervasive that it can be very difficult for We the People to obtain and analyze real truths.
Virtually zero news outlets even abide by the Journalism Code of Ethics with regards to being UNBIASED and for NOT serving a self-interest Agenda.
While most of us are capable of choosing our personal sides on issues, it appears much harder for each of us to educate ourselves on the opposition opinion. When we only chose to be parroted the same themes from the same affirming sources we are further deluded to believe only our side is correct. Any notion of common ground or compromise is stifled by the notion that our side is correct and righteous. We are told every day that we are on the "correct side of history" by the media news choices we've personally decided are truth.
We must UNPLUG from the same affirming voices and challenge the sources we are basing our position upon. We all need to branch out and research competing messages even at the risk of being offended. No truth can be learned via biased sources.
Once all sources have been analyzed, and a better understanding of both sides is garnered, does it not make more sense to Compromise instead of fight over temporary laws installed by temporary politicians?
Which option seems to be closest to Tolerance, while also lacking Bigotry?
